About
I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Division of Virology at the University of Cambridge (UK). My research focuses on the characterisation of Herpes Simplex Virus-1 release from mammalian cells.
As my contract will expire in July 2012, I'm also in the process of applying for post doctoral research positions in space biology (such as astrobiology, space medicine, SETI) related fields in the United States and Australia.
My research expertise lies in genetics, molecular biology, microbiology and bioinformatics.
I enjoy hanging out with, and making new friends, quad biking, snorkelling, swimming, running, biking, netball, photography & photo processing, singing and creative writing.
