My work examines Britain’s relationship with Islam in the British Empire, and develops a transnational methodology to re-examine Islam’s contribution to Britain's imperial and religious experiences in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. My post-doctoral research project is on British converts to Islam, 1857-1960.
