About

Jing Chen received his first degree (BEng 1st Class Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2005, and was awarded his PhD in Engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2009. His PhD studies included the electro-optic effect of chiral nematic liquid crystals and the next generation of LCOS devices for holographic applications. He currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Photonic and Sensor Group.

Holographic Storage
Liquid Crystals over Silicon (LCOS) SLM devices
Holographic technology in 2D/3D holographic applications
