About
My research interests are in Workplace Learning and I am working with Alison Fox at Leicester University. We have analyzed the interactions of new and recently qualified teachers' networks.
Rosemary Deaney (Cambridge) and I have investigated teacher identity and agency with particular emphasis on career changers during the transition from earlier careers through Initial Teacher Education and into the first teaching post.
Helen Demetriou (Cambridge) and I have undertaken a longitudinal study of new teachers in their first five years of teaching which has led to published work on teacher retention and teacher emotions.
