About
I studied History at Utrecht University and completed my MA in Medieval Studies at that same university. Currently I take a PhD in history at Cambridge on the Carolingian reception of the Historia Tripartita by Cassiodorus.
My main research interests lay in the field of manuscript studies and palaeography. It intruiges me how intellectual and political culture respond to each other, and how power also influences the transmission and reading of manuscripts.
