Antonio Andreoni is PhD Candidate in Development Studies at the Department of Politics and International Studies (Centre of Development Studies), University of Cambridge. His research on Manufacturing Development: Structural Change and Capabilities Dynamics is supervised by Dr Ha-Joon Chang. Antonio investigates cumulative processes of structural change triggered by technological and organizational learning, both at the sectoral and intersectoral level. Possibilities and constraints embedded in productive structures are explored for designing innovative industrial policies and technological capability indicators. He is also involved in research on manufacturing-services interfaces, structures of cognition and production, credit structures. He has extensively published on institutional formats and financial techniques for microenterprises development.
