About
My research interests center around the social, cultural and intellectual history of modern medicine. In the summer of 2012, I plan on submitting my dissertation dealing with the creation of the "mind sciences" in 19th- and 20th-century France, particularly as they intersect with extra-medical fields such as spiritism and literature.
In the fall 2011 semester, I am a Teaching Fellow for the class "Madness and Medicine: Themes in the History of Psychiatry" at Harvard.
